Renovation of an educational facility in Weslaco, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
BID BOND A bid bond or a cashier's check (copy only) must be included as an attachment with your Proposal response. Failure to attach a copy may result in the disqualification of your proposal. The bid bond or cashier's check must be in the amount of 5% of the total cost of this project. If presenting a cashier's check, it must be made payable to Weslaco Independent School District. The deadline to submit any questions regarding this project is: Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 5:00 pm CST. Submit your questions through online or email them to: bids@wisd.us Weslaco ISD is not responsible for proposals not meeting the deadline. Please contact Baldemar Garcia, Purchasing Director or Robert Rodriguez, Purchasing Specialist at Weslaco ISD Business Office (956)969-6572 if you have any questions or issues regarding this proposal. The awarding of the proposal will take place at the WISD public school board meeting. The Weslaco ISD School Board reserves the right to accept, reject any and/or all proposals, waive minor technicalities, or to award the proposal to the most responsible offeror which best serves the interest of, and provides the best value to, the District. The project consists of the removal and disposal of the existing marquee sign at the Dr. R. E. Margo Elementary School, and the construction and installation of a new marquee sign with double sided message center and graphics for the same campus. This sign will be used to digitally display campus information to parents and the community at large. The new marquee sign will be elevated from the ground level, and the message centers will consist of digital LED display boards. The new marquee sign shall be erected on a cement base.
