The Cherokee Nation is accepting bids from interested parties for the Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Repair of HVAC Equipment for the Child Care and Development Center located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The scope of work and specifications are included in this bid packet. Bids will be accepted from Indian and Non-Indian bidders. Cherokee Nation reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Cherokee Nation reserves the right to determine if a bid meets stated requirements, and to award a purchase order for the bid that is in the best interest of the Cherokee Nation including but not limited to the total cost and capability of the bidder. Bidders are responsible for any and all costs associated with the preparation and submission of bids. To be considered, bids must be received by the specified date and time; any bid received after stipulated date and time will be returned unopened. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after proposal due date. The Cherokee Nation Child Care and Development is seeking bids for: HVAC Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Repair Service Contract for the Tahlequah Child Care and Development office and Tahlequah Child Development Center, Toy Room, and Maintenance Shop located at 16947 Cherokee Street, Tahlequah, Ok 74464 Must us MERV-13 Filters, pleated and good for 90 day or more on all units. Inspect all aspects of the HVAC units and exhaust fans and ensure that ductwork works adequately. Tech must call, and always sign in or out at all times before showing up. Major repairs over $1,000.00 noted during the preventive maintenance inspection require an advance written quote submitted for approval before purchasing parts or making repairs. Emergency service call bid will show labor, mileage, and associated fees. Must be able to respond within 24 hours for emergency calls for the center to maintain Oklahoma D.H.S. and Cherokee Nation Child Care Licensing regulations. Sites and equipment to be serviced are subject to change base on repairs and replacement. Wage Rate Requirements: All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of character similar in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act.
