Site work and paving for a civil project in Obsidian, Idaho. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project makes improvements to 6 airstrips on the Payette and Boise National Forests including Chamberlain, Cold Meadows, Cabin Creek, Krassel, Landmark, and Idaho City. Work includes culvert replacement, windsock installation, boundary marker maintenance, toilet building installation, grading, clearing and grubbing, sign installation, tie-down installation, asphalt repair and all related work. 3 of the airstrips are in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness and special restrictions will apply. Access to these 3 sites is only by airplane or ~20+ miles of trail. Additionally only hand tools, and horse drawn tools type may be used at those sites. Magnitude of the Proposed Project: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
