Trench Drain Replacement Project Summary: Indianapolis Public Transportation Corp. dba IndyGo, is seeking bids from qualified contractors. This project includes the complete demolition and replacement of four (4) existing trench drains that measure a minimum of 50 feet each in length. Work will include the removal of existing trench drains, piping, concrete and grate systems. Replacement work will include new catch basins, new trench drains, and concrete finishing. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following Tasks: a. The complete demolition and replacement of four (4) existing trench drains as shown in the drawings. These include: 1) Three (3) wide grated trench drains that serve the facility fueling operations 2) One (1) traditional trench drain that serves as an intermediate between fueling stations and the washing system b. Work will require phasing to ensure ongoing facility operations as follows and as noted in the documents: 1) Phase One a) Includes the shutdown and work on trench drain #1 and trench drain #2. During this phase, lanes for trench drains #3 & #4 shall remain operable. Phase Two shall not begin until Phase One is complete and usable (able to bear weight of bus traffic) 2) Phase Two a) Includes the shutdown and work on trench drain #3. During this phase, lanes for trench drains #1, #2 and #4 shall remain operable.
