Completed plans call for the construction of a 147,000-square-foot, six-story above grade, 192-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The following Trade Contractors are invited to submit information indicating their interest and qualifications for Schlegel Villages Barrie, Long-Term Care Home. ALL DIVISIONAL SCOPES. Description of Project: -147,000 sq ft new construction. -6 storeys, 192 LTC beds. -New construction consists of hollow core precast concrete floor, cast in place concrete shear walls and structural steel. -Brick veneer, aluminum panels, curtain wall, and punched openings in exterior. -Fully sprinklered. Interested trades are requested to submit a completed CCDC11-2019 form listing similar projects with references. Submissions will be evaluated according to relevant experience, capacity, proximity, and quality of work, based on reviewing submissions and contacting references. The Owner, Schlegel Villages Inc., has sole discretion over which firms, if any, are invited to bid on the work. *Cost reflects an approx. value of the entire project.
