Hanapepe Road Resurfacing Fed-Aid Project Furnishing and Paying for All Materials, Labor, Transportation, Tools, Equipment, Machinery and Services Necessary to Construct in Place and Complete: Hanapepe Road Resurfacing District of Waimea, Island of Kauai for the Department of Public Works, County of Kauai. The project includes resurfacing of Hanapepe Road, pavement widening, reconstruction of driveways, construction of concrete walkways, curbs, curb ramps, pavement striping and marking, relocation and removal of existing signage, and new signage Estimated construction costs are from $3,000,000 to $5,000,000. To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering Contractor's "A" license, prior to the award of the contract. The U.S. Department of Transportation Regulation entitled "Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the U.S. Department of Transportation," Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 21 is applicable to this project.
