Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Raymondville, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a museum; for site work for a museum; road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Project consists of a single pre-engineered metal building approximately 10,400 SF in size, with a split level, standing seam metal roof. The building consists of office space, a small assembly space, landscaping improvements, steel stud exterior walls clad in EIFS, multiple single use restrooms, and associated lighting, HVAC, and interior finishes. Sitework improvements include an improved driveway off SH 186, associated drives and parking areas and lighting, drainage, and detention facilities. Utilities include a waterline extension and connections, sanitary sewer with a septic system, electrical and communication improvements, and service connections. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to Willacy County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant CARES Act (CDBG-CV) program project number (CRP Project #70800001014) and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts and subcontracts. Willacy County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Willacy County for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
