** As of February 11, 2025, the project was awarded to Gregory Bridge Company, with an awarded amount of $721,870.00.** The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the project titled Union Hill Church Road Bridge Replacement. In general, construction consists of removal of one (1) existing bridge and construction of one (1) new, pre-stressed bridge and all other associated appurtenances necessary for a complete and operational project. Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor and must be fully insured and bonded. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Departments most current Circular 570 Listing, latest edition. The Owner will give preference to a bridge company that has a pre-approved pre-stressed bridge plan.) The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all non-conforming , non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the owner believes would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the owner.
