Gutter Downspout Cleaning and Repairs Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to perform gutter/downspout cleaning and inspection. Cleaning Scope Requirements: Clean all gutters and downspouts semi-annually in spring and fall. Contractor shall photograph before and after of areas cleaned. Contractor is responsible for any damage caused during the cleaning including damage caused by a ladder or lift. Blow or sweep roofs, valleys and walkway overhangs clear of debris as needed, prior to cleaning of gutters and downspouts. Clean gutters and downspouts by removing all mud, dirt, leaves, tree branches, trash, and any other debris by power washing until clear. If water is not available, contractor is to hand remove all debris. Do not rest ladders on sheet metal gutters. If needed, remove any leaf screens attached to the gutters and downspouts to remove debris and reinstall. Any debris left under the leaf screens is unacceptable. Clean splatter or water spots caused by pressure washing. (No water spots, film or dirt are to be left on the entrance glass doors and windows). All droppings, trash and debris dropped on the landscape, entryway, or sidewalk must be cleaned up. All waste is to be removed and transported to an offsite dumping facility. Inspection/Repair Scope Requirements: Inspect gutters and downspouts for rust, cracks, loose, broken, out of place hangers, corners or slopes, pulling of fasteners, broken joints or seams, excessive straining or punctures of gutter fabric. Provide an inspection report including photographs and proposal to the Project Manager of recommended repairs. Contractor must obtain Project Manager or designee's written approval prior to commencing any additional work and repairs. Contractor shall provide before and after photographs electronically to the Project Manager as confirmation the repairs are complete. Question Deadline 11/08/2024 at 2:00 PM PT
