The Los Angeles Unified School District "LAUSD" or "The District" seeks proposals from qualified firms in designing and building a complete Audio/Visual (A/V) Communication system for the Marlton School as outlined herein this Statement of Work (SOW) and related Specifications, which includes upgrade of the Local Area Network and the Wireless Local Area Network. 1. Module I - Audio Visual Communication Systems 2. Module II - LAN/WLAN Network Upgrade Deadline for Final Written Questions November 4, 2024; Extend the Deadline for Final Written Questions to November 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. local time; The scope of this solicitation is to procure Audio/Visual Communication System, LAN/WLAN and Related Services at Marlton School. The RFP consists of two (2) modules: 1. MODULE I - A/V Communication System - The project scope includes the following: i. Design and build a modernized A/V communication system that shall be compliant with applicable laws and regulations pertaining to Kari's Law, RAY BAUM's Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act. ii. Provide equipment and labor to install and implement the A/V communication system. iii. Integrate the A/V communication system with the LAN/WLAN equipment. iv. Train the District's staff on the A/V communications system. v. Equipment warranty, firmware/software and security patches 2. MODULE II - LAN/WLAN Equipment Replacement The project scope include the following: o Equipment procurement o Equipment warranty, firmware/software updates and security patches o Burn-in testing o Basic configuration o IP address and VLAN's; District will provide required information at the time of project execution o Labeling o Asset management documentation o Delivery o On premises like for like equipment replacement o District Test and Acceptance
