construction of a hot-mix asphalt surface for its Villa Drive Walking Path Project The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids as permitted by state law and waive nonmaterial informalities. The work for this contract includes scarifying the top 2-inches of existing gravel base, adding about 180-CY of road base to the existing pathway, compacting, and placing about 19,300 SF of 2.5-inch thick hot-mix asphalt (7-ft wide). All communications relative to this work are to be directed to Mr. McCracken prior to November 5, 2024. Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference will NOT be held. Question Deadline 11/05/2024 All questions about the meaning or the intent of the Bidding Documents and Construction Plans are to be directed to the City Engineer. b. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer shall be issued by written Addenda which shall be emailed to all official plans' holders. c. Questions received less than three (3) business days before the Bid submittal date may not be answered.
