Site work for a water / sewer project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All Qualified Bidders are invited to submit bids for the construction of Bluegrass Lake Stormwater Mitigation - Lake Discharge Improvements The Project consists of clearing, grubbing, drainage, tunneling and erosion control for the stormwater improvements. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the "CONTRACTOR'S LICENSING ACT OF 1976," and as passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Furthermore, the Contractor should have the necessary licensing classifications as listed in the Rules of Tennessee Board for Licensing General Contractors-Chapter 0680-1. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or by a Bidder's Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in Tennessee in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price within thirty (30) calendar days of contract award notice. Knox County reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the County. Bidder agrees to comply with the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Project Requirements & Guidelines. This project is being funded in whole or in part by federal award number 21.027 awarded to Knox County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Central Street, Suite 100, Knoxville, TN 37917 at brian.hubbs@knoxcounty.org (Telephone 865-215-5753) no later than Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. local time. All technical questions will be addressed by written addendum issued by Knox County Procurement Work of this Contract includes the installation/execution of the following: Excavation of the existing tunnel fromBluegrass Lake to the Tennessee River; installation of nominal 72" diameter liner plates, grouted in place, with cementitious lining inside; installation of 2 area drains; installation of 72" RCP; connection to the existing 72" RCP; and installation of a new headwall at Bluegrass Lake.
