Description

Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Phelps, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The project would begin inside the building where 8-inch pipe enters the building on the north side and exits on the south side and will include the following: o Removal and replacement of all piping to include, fittings, valves, gaskets, bends, reducers, supports, rods, spacers and all hardware. o All materials to be painted with Macrpoxy paint. The following are changes that need to be made to the current setup: o Master meter from 4-inch pipe to 6-inch piping, o The bypass over the meter from 3-inch piping top 4-inch piping. o Additional large supports, from two to three, o Additional smaller supports, from four to six. Special requirements: o The station will need to be fully functional at the end of each work day as it is needed to fill an existing water tank needed to supply districts. o All material that is replaced will be left onsite for the Town to pick up. o Town Water Department will turn on and off valves each day. Exclusions: o No bypass pumping, o No modifications to pumps or controls within the building. Bidders may contact the Water Superintendent or Deputy Water Superintendent at 315-548-5691 x309 to schedule a time to enter the building for inspection. Two bids received. Tender has been cancelled and will not be re-retendered.
