Please see Attachments. qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide construction services for the City's Parks and Recreation Department, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). Licensing Requirements: Florida Certified General Contractor License or Florida Certified Building Contractor or any other State or County License(s), Certification(s), or Registration(s) deemed legally permissible by the City to conduct the nature of the work required in this solicitation. This Project is located at 2750 NW 19th Street, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The work includes but is not limited to the demolition of the existing recreation center and erecting a one-story new community center of approximately 9,500 square feet with pool access and a restroom building of approximately 1,625 square feet including building elements such as earthwork, slab-on-grade, masonry, roofing, doors, windows, tiles, ceiling, operable partitions, stone countertops, lockers, and awning. Additional site improvements include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire, communications, and other specialty trades included as part of the buildings. Other improvements such as clearing and grubbing, erosion control, fence removal, new signages, benches, ADA accessible picnic table, trash receptacles, bike rack, installation of new fencing, concrete and asphalt demolition, construction of new concrete sidewalks, handrails, curbs, gravity wall, pavement markings, water, sewer, fire, storm electrical utilities, landscaping, and irrigation. Parking improvement including demolition, new subgrade, base, asphalt, paving markings, curbs, signs, and warning mats. Project alternates include a fitness station and an interactive water feature. Drawing Plans: This Project consists of Drawings, 159 sheets. Please see Attachments. The introduction of this new platform results in the City of Fort Lauderdale no longer using online. All current and future suppliers must now register in INFOR to receive electronic notifications of sourcing events/solicitations, such as an informal quote, Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposals, or Request for Qualifications. All current and new suppliers must register in the Infor system immediately. The Procurement Services Division has implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP System is INFOR. As an enterprise system, one of the various modules is the Supplier Portal. The Supplier Portal is the gateway that allows for the City and Suppliers to connect and conduct business. The Supplier Portal is a one-stop electronic commerce exchange enabling suppliers interested in conducting business with the City to register as a supplier, respond to sourcing events/solicitations, and update their supplier information at any time.
