Renovation of a parking garage in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a qualifed & licensed contractor to furnish and install solutions to commercial passage projects at Williamsburg, Urbana, and Tipton Maintenance Garages as per the specifications outlined within individual specification documents located on the Attachment tab. Awarded contractor is responsible for final fit measurement post-bid. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders as work performance and work capacity. Estimated project start date- Upon issuance of award (The date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). Estimated project end date- 06/01/2025 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids)
