JEA is implementing the Wildlight Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Project to provide and distribute 1.0 MGD AADF (2.25 MGD PHF) additional potable (e.g., drinking) water in JEA's service area in northwest Nassau County. The project includes a new water treatment plant including two production wells, provisions for an optional third well as a backup well, well head assemblies, raw water and finished water pipelines, ground storage tank with tray aerator and powered ventilators for sulfide treatment, high service pump building, high service pump system with VFD controlled high service pumps of various capacities, sodium hypochlorite storage and injection system, finished water pipeline, electrical power and controls, emergency generator, access roads, security and fire alarm features, stormwater management features, SCADA system, and associated features.
