Renovation of a fire / police facility in Newington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project Location: Newington Police Station, 300 Garfield Street, Newington, Connecticut. Project Description: Project consists of replacement of rooftop HVAC units, modifying the current BMS to work with the new and existing mechanical equipment to remain, the replacement of the existing EPDM roofing system, and the replacement of the existing Architectural Asphalt Roof Shingles General Contract (all trades). HVAC Contractors shall be eligible to bid as General Contractors. Roofing Contractors shall not be eligible to bid as General Contractors. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received by 11/13/2024 and responded to by 11/15/2024. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.
