Satellite Apartments Roof Replacement Delta Community Developers Corp. (DCDC) is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed C-39 Roofing Contractors to remove and replace the existing roof at the Satellite Apartment complex. Located at 530 N. Stanislaus Street, Stockton, CA 95202. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the online website by 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Delta Community Developers Corp. (DCDC) is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed C-39 Roofing Contractors to remove and replace the existing roof at the Satellite Apartment complex, located at 530 N. Stanislaus Street, Stockton, CA 95202. 2.1 The total approximate roof square footage is 11,800, see attached architectural roof plan page A103 (Attachment M). NOTE: Building areas do not reflect true surface area due to roof pitch, the Contractor is responsible to field verify. 2.2 The Contractor shall be aware of the current Asbestos/Lead-Based report, see Attachment L prepared by Stockton Environmental. The Contractor shall comply with abatement measures as required for the roofing scope. 2.3 The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all applicable required permits from the City of Stockton - Lead Agency - throughout the construction period up to the building permit final approval and acceptance from both the architect, DCDC Staff, and the City of Stockton building department. DCDC will pay any fees associated with the building permit and/or any additional fees as agreed upon through the project. 2.4 Demolition of Existing Roof Material: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and services, complete all associated physical work and pay fees to perform the removal and lawful disposal of existing roofing materials to expose existing solid plywood sheathing. Any additional removal costs, dumping fees, and reporting associated with these operations will be included in the total demolition costs submitted by the Contractor (i.e. including sheet metal, flashing, roof safes, vents, etc.). DCDC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the bidding. NOTICE OF HUD SECTION 3 ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY: This may be a Section 3 covered project and may be subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. DCDC encourages participation by certified HUD Section 3 businesses, as well as, minority-owned and women-owned businesses, and disabled veteran business enterprises. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
