**As of January 10, 2025 project was awarded to Ranger Excavating LT , TX for $2,906,995.95. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. Expansion of an existing regional detention pond northeast of IH-10 and Huber Road. The primary bid item is excavation of mostly sandy-clay soils within a 60-acre footprint and up to 7 feet in depth (471,981 CY = 292.5 acre-feet). Erosion control and reseeding is included as well as a minor modification to the existing outfall structure. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: October 1, 2025 (240 calendar days) All excavated material not utilized in the construction shall become the property of the Contractor and be removed and disposed of legally off the project site. Haul route included at end of bid manual. Question Deadline 11/22/2024
