Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Deland, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The awarded contractor is Drewry Site Development with the amount of $121,015.94. Tra Thomas Park improvements will include 13 additional parking along Kentucky Ave, and new sidewalk and curbing along Frankfort Ave to correct drainage and erosion issues. The City Commission of the City of DeLand reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and/or readvertise for new bids and to accept all or any part of any proposal as they deem to be in the best interest of the City of DeLand. The contract shall be awarded as set forth by the terms of the City Charter of the City of DeLand to the lowest and best responsible bidder. The Deadline for Questions shall be no later than 5 pm on Friday, November 22. Questions shall be directed to the office of the Purchasing Coordinator at purchasing@deland.org.
