Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work for Contract No. 24-S1 includes the removal of existing concrete stairs, installation of concrete channel, concrete stairs with a bicycle runnel and hand rails, 80 LF of 6' bituminous walkway, landscaping, erosion and sedimentation control facilities, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. Work to tentatively begin on November 4, 2024 and be completed by February 2, 2025 Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE The Borough shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Borough may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Borough has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
