Site work for a water / sewer project in Egremont, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Questions are due by 1:00pm November 4, 2024 and must be submitted in writing to tegremont@egremont-ma.gov. Each Bid shall include a resume of showing similar projects and include a minimum of 5 references for similar projects completed. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in form of a bid bond, or certified check, and/or a treasurers or cashiers check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid. The ceiling estimate is $700,000,000. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of Massachusetts General Law (M.G.L.) c. 149, 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those tradespeople who may be employed for the proposed work under this Contract. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. The Town of Egremont reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the town.
