The scope of work also includes, but is not limited to roadway demo & reconstruction, SWM Pond, storm sewer pipes & structures, quadruple 8' x 5' box culvert, 1532 LF of concrete sidewalk, 1169 LF of asphalt sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, CG-12 curb cut ramps, CG-9 driveway entrances, bus stop, public water system relocation primarily 650 LF of 16" watermain, installation of electrical conduit, splice boxes and 16 streetlights, tree clearing, pavement marking and roadway signs. Fairfax County ("County") is soliciting pre-qualifications of bidders for the construction of the Burke Road Realignment Improvement project. The construction cost for this project is estimated to be between $4 million to $6 million. The anticipated date for the Construction Authorization is estimated to be spring 2025 and the Substantial Completion date is estimated to be fall 2026. These are estimated dates and durations and are subject to change. Fairfax County is soliciting pre-bid qualification applications for the construction of the Burke Road Realignment Project. The project will help mitigate common flooding, improve roadway cornering and sight distance within the vicinity of the project limits. All questions concerning this Pre-qualification Application procedure shall be submitted in writing to DPWESCAPUDCDTransportationInquiry@fairfaxcounty.gov and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the deadline for submittal of the Prequalification Application. The Board of Supervisors of Fairfax County, Virginia reserves the right to reject any and all Applications, and to waive informalities and irregularities in the Pre-qualification Application procedure. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
