Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Eureka, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Demolition of Two (2) Existing Buildings Existing Maintenance Building and Concession Building Bid Packages for Bid Phase 1: BP 01 - Building Demolition This project consists of the demolition and removal of all existing building materials, concrete slabs, foundations of existing Maintenance Building and Concessions Building. Backfill and compaction of all removed foundations is to be included by the demolition contractor. This project is anticipated to be bid and awarded in December 2024, material procurement to immediately follow once contracts are issued, and work will occur starting in March 2025. The anticipated to be completed in April of 2025. All bids must be accompanied with bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a cashier's check made payable to Eureka Community Unit School District #140 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The bidder shall, within said ten (10) days, provide a Payment and Performance Bond, with a Surety to be approved by the district, in the amount of 100% of the cost of the contract, the cost of which shall be included in the bid. The form of the Payment and Performance Bond is subject to approval of counsel for the district. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors of irregularity in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed. The Board of Education will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder that meets the criteria as established in the specifications and the contract will be awarded only after a formal notice is given to the successful bidder pursuant to action by the Board of Education.
