The selected contractor will assume the role as general contractor and will be responsible for hiring and overseeing the necessary trades to perform work as described in this RFP. The general contractor will be responsible for acquiring all necessary permits for the work and ensuring that all work complies with all federal, state, and local laws, codes, and ordinances. The contractor shall also maintain an open dialog with the Owner and ESi in the scheduling of the work and any questions/issues that may arise out of the repair of the various locations. Since work to be performed will involve different areas of the building, coordination with the owner and the tenants is tantamount to maintaining minimal impact on the building residents. All work that impedes on living or working environments shall be protected from dust, dirt, and bodily injury.
