Once the boreholes have been drilled, the exact location must be transmitted in X, Y and Z coordinates (NAD83); Location of all utilities prior to the commencement of work on site ; Atkins Realis - Confidential 2024-10-29 2 Drilling using appropriate equipment including signage in accordance with current laws and regulations (MTQ road and road permission, if required); Coordination with the municipality for access to lots affected by drilling (pond site, access road and pipe routing, mainly). Note that some boreholes may be located in wooded areas and be more difficult to access due to the nature of the terrain; the Adjudicator is responsible for carrying out the activities required to gain access to the borehole sites, in coordination with the Municipality; Environmental characterisation for all boreholes drilled in the field and recommendations on the management method (soil and granular materials); Phase I ESA study report and recommendations; Geotechnical study and soil characterisation report (full Phase 2 ESA). The field work shall be carried out as soon as possible following the granting of the mandate, with a deadline of November 30, 2024 for completion of the field work, depending on weather conditions in the field and the judgment of the geotechnical professional. If conditions do not allow the work to be carried out, the AtkinsRealis - Confidential 2024-10-29 7 municipality must be notified by the Adjudicator. Drilling logs must be submitted no later than two (2) weeks after completion. The remainder of the documents and the final report must be sent six (6) weeks after drilling has been completed. The Contractor shall provide the Municipality with field data and sample analysis results as soon as they become available.
