AC088A MIA North Terminal D2 Checkpoint Upgrade Estimated Cost: $854,023.00 License Requirement: General Building Contractor The Scope of Work shall include, but not be limited to: o Selective demolition of demountable wall and door system. o Install and remove temporary drywall partition system. o Existing Checkpoint Equipment, furniture and associated components to be removed and salvaged for future use. o Protection of existing Signage, HVAC grills, light fixtures, smoke detectors, CCTV cameras and speakers. o Patch and paint existing walls. o Selective replace ACT panels as needed to receive new cameras. o New obscured glass demountable wall and door system 8.00 feet height. o Relocate the existing electrical conduits, receptacles and all wires. o Install new electrical conduits, receptacles and all wires. o Install new conduits and wires for data and communication systems o Video surveillance cameras, testing, integration and commissioning. In addition, this estimate includes the following scope that will be performed by MDAD/Others: o Patch and repair existing Terrazzo floor, new wall base as needed. o New STSO Podium (By Owner). o Allowance for Signage. LICENSE QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTORS: A Bidder must hold at the time its bid is submitted, unless this Contract is exempt under Florida Statutes Section 489.103 and Miami-Dade County Code, Chapter 10, Section 10-22 (a) (2), a current valid certificate, as listed below, qualifying the Bidder to perform the Work contemplated under this RPQ. o The State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board, pursuant to the provisions of Section 489.115 of the Florida Statutes; or o The Miami-Dade County Construction Trades Qualifying Board, pursuant to the provisions of Section 10-3 (a) of the Miami-Dade County Code. Holders of Miami-Dade County Certificates of Competency must also hold Certificates of Registration issued by the State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board, pursuant to the provisions of Section 489.117, Florida Statutes.
