Renovation of a residential development in Plymouth, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Project will entail rehabilitation work on seven (7) homes scattered throughout Marshall County. Bidders can submit a bid on all homes or elect to limit their bid to specific addresses. A summary of the work to be included entails. Home #10 (905 N. Center St., Plymouth, IN): Partial Foundation Replacement; Subfloor, Door & Window Replacement and Shingled Roof Replacement. Home #11 (609 W. Washington St., Plymouth, IN): Shingled Roof Replacement. Home #12 (19475 9C Road, Plymouth, IN): Roof replacement, furnace replacement, and installation of ADA ramp. Home #13 (15936 Yarlett St., Culver, IN): Exterior entryway rehabilitation including porch post, handrails and concrete; replacement of front door and transom, replacement of three (3) windows, replacement of furnace and insulate crawl space. Home #14 (1498 Oak Rd., Plymouth, IN): Roof replacement. Home #15 (908 N. Center St., Plymouth, IN): Furnace / HVAC replacement. Home #16 (10199 Queen Rd., Plymouth, IN): Roof replacement. The work to be performed and the bid to be submitted shall include sufficient and proper sums for all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and so forth incidental to and required for the construction of the facilities. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the Project and the name and address of the Bidder. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms as identified in the Contract Documents and Specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond made payable to the Owner, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate bid, which check or bond will be held by the Owner as evidence that the bidder will, if awarded the contract, enter into the same with the Owner upon notification from him to do so within ten (10) days of said notification. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the work contemplated therein
