Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in La Grange, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, asphalt path, concrete walks, underground drainage, playground installation, shelter installation, electrical work, site furnishings, tree planting, and seeding operations. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Park District of La Grange. The Park District of La Grange reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Park District of La Grange. The Park District of La Grange encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The contractor(s) selected will also be required to comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and executive orders pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
