** As of 12/13 2024 project has been awarded to Adena Corporation with $1,195,739.71.** This Project is the improvement of an outfall that extends throughout the City in an open and closed drainage system by removing deteriorated channel retaining walls and a portion of the 3-sided precast structure and adding a new portion of 3-sided precast structure and retaining walls between Main Street and Arthur Street. The Project will maintain existing and Horizontal Alignment. Improvements include work to restore the area (seeding and mulching). Each bidder is required to furnish with its bid, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The City intends and requires that this project be completed no later than June 30, 2025. The Engineer's Estimate is one million four hundred thousand dollars ($1,400,000). No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
