This Special Notice is due to the VA wanting to award the project to Talion Construction, LLC. However, since so much time has passed (due to the GOVT SHUTDOWN), they want Updated Proposals from all our subcontractors. They asked us today if we can have all of our sub contractors update their proposals with a new date of 11/20/2025 or later plus to let them know if there are any long lead time items. I need to have this completed by Monday 11/24/2025. The proposed Police Station is located within Quad 7 of the VAGLAHS Campus, located directly east of Building 220 and bounded by Wilshire Boulevard to the east, Eisenhower Avenue to the north, and San Vicente Boulevard to the west (see Attachment 1 for Project maps). The Project is comprised of approximately one (1) acre on Accessor's Parcel Number (APN) 4365-008-906. The Project consists of the construction of an 18,000 square foot two-story Police Station with 56-stalls of surface parking, with anticipated ground disturbance depth being 4 to 6 feet below the current grade.
