Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boulder, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Boulder Housing Partners, identified hereafter as BHP, is requesting bid proposals from companies to provide the following services for multi-family housing sites: Asphalt and Concrete Please submit all proposals or any questions regarding the RFP to procurement@boulderhousing.org Boulder Housing Partners will be requesting bids to repair our parking lot at our Westview apartment complex at 1201 Yarmouth St. Boulder, CO 30304.This will be a design build project. The work will consist of removing existing permeable concrete drainage structure and replacing it with an inlet and area drain. This project will also include concrete paving and asphalt patching, concrete drain pan replacement, striping and parking blocks. Scope of Work/technical Specifications: Boulder Housing Partners will be requesting bids to repair our parking lot at our Westview apartment complex. This will be a design build project, the work will consist of removing existing permeable concrete drainage structure and replace with and inlet and area drain, this project will also include concrete paving and asphalt patching, concrete drain pan replacement, striping and parking blocks, the location of the project is 1201 Yarmouth St Boulder Co 30304 Remove and haul off existing drainage structure, this will include excavation of gravel approx. 6 inches deep in an area 50ft x 35ft, (this material may be acceptable for paving subgrade this will be determined at time of removal) Supply and Install 2ft x 2ft precast concrete inlet with traffic weight area drain grate and frame, approximate depth is 4ft (the actual dept will be verified in field) locate existing 4in PVC drainpipe and connect to inlet Remove existing gravel to a depth of 6 inches to allow for concrete pavement, verify subgrade material will be suitable for concrete pavement Install dowel bars into existing wall, #4 rebar on 24inch centers minimum, Wire mesh or rebar should be used for concrete pavement Supply and Install 6in depth concrete pavement inside existing concrete walls, expansion material should be provided and sealed with polyurethane sealant Remove and haul off 2 concrete medians, (60 sq ft), steel post bollards and landscaping, these items are located within the work area, patch back with asphalt Provide 12 rubber or composite wheel stops for parking spaces and restripe the entire parking lot, 22 parking spaces including 2 handicap spots Remove and haul off 30lf of 24-inch concrete drain pan located at parking lot entrance and replace with 30 inch concrete drain pan 6 inch depth January 15th, 2025 or sooner: Award of Contract and Notification Bhp Reservation of Rights: 1. BHP reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the RFP process, or to terminate the RFP process at any time, if deemed by BHP to be in its best interests. 2. BHP reserves the right not to award a contract pursuant to this RFP. 3. BHP reserves the right to terminate a contract awarded pursuant to this RFP, at any time for its convenience upon 30 days written notice to the successful bidder. 4. BHP reserves the right to inspect work at any time during the ongoing work. 5. BHP reserves the right to determine the days, hours and locations that the successful bidder shall provide the services called for in this RFP. 6. BHP reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and not permit withdrawal for a period of 60 days subsequent to the deadline for receiving proposals. 7. BHP reserves the right to negotiate the fees proposed by the bidder. 8. BHP reserves the right to reject and not consider any proposal that does not meet the requirements of this RFP, including but not limited to incomplete proposals and/or proposals offering alternate or non-requested services. 9. BHP shall have no obligation to compensate any bidder for any costs incurred in responding to this RFP. 10. BHP shall reserve the right to at any time during the RFP or contract process to prohibit any further participation by a bidder or reject any proposal submitted that does not conform to any of the requirements detailed herein.
