As of November 25, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 3, 2024. The entire project is within MPS Andersen Middle School, 15404 Adams Street, Omaha NE 68137. The project consists of: Demolition of existing kitchen hood, exhaust fan, and make-up air unit and replacement with new equipment. Miscellaneous ductwork modifications. C. Renovations will take place during staff and student summer vacation, but various areas of the facility will be occupied by summer school activities. Contractors and MPS staff will work closely to isolate areas of work. D. Work in the facility shall be allowed during normal working hours throughout the project, however, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building. E.
