Renovation of a municipal facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work covered by this SI includes the work required to apply corrective measures to eight (8) escalators at the Guy Favreau Complex, located at 200 René-Lévesque Blvd. West, Montreal, Quebec. The work is described as follows, but is not limited to: 1. Retain existing steps and clean them on site. 2. Retain existing baseboards. 3. Replace steps that do not comply with CSA B44-M85, Article 8.3.5.4.2 due to damaged ribs. 4. Replace digital service displays for all escalators. 5. Extend upper landing guardrail over entire horizontal portion of #D and #E escalators. 6. Miscellaneous work on the inclined part of the staircases and the storage areas under each pair of escalators.
