Clyde Morris Boulevard, Suite A, Newport News VA 23601. II. SCOPE OF WORK This project is for installing a new generator and ATS for emergency power to refrigerators, freezers, A/C mini split systems and applicable circuits to the subpanel. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and parts required to perform this modification in accordance with all stated terms, conditions, provisions, and schedules of the contract. This work shall be warrantied for one year from the completion of the installation. All work will be performed during normal working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except State Holidays. A. The Contractor shall: 1. 2. 3. All equipment, materials and installation work shall comply with this specification, the Virginia OSHA Standards, and the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Codes. SERVICES: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts and materials, as necessary, to install and maintain the generator listed in accordance with manufacturer's service manuals. SERVICES: The contractor shall provide coordination, engineering, permits, materials and installation for all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, and materials, as necessary, to install a fully operational 45 kW generator with 150-amp automatic transfer switch. Continuous and final cleaning and debris removal for the generator and electrical panel work. The Virginia Department of Health Hampton & Peninsula Health District will purchase the generator through a separate Quick Quote Solicitation. The contractor shall provide supervision, project management, and debris removal to run all required circuits to the generator subpanel for electrical wiring for all required circuits for the refrigerators, freezers, A/C mini split systems and other applicable room circuits to the subpanel that will be backed up by the generator. Repairs to all damage while rewiring circuits to the generator panel. Obtain all necessary city/county permits Provide and install four (4) bollards in the area for the generator Furnish and install Equipment Pad for the Generator Install wiring and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). ATS will be in the main electrical room. Install gas line from the gas meter to the new generator and make up connections. Unit will be located as close to the building near the existing gas feed as possible. Install the battery for the new generator. Provide training for the generator usage. Provide annual maintenance service cost recommended and/or required by the manufacturer to include changing the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter, valve adjustment, electrical checks, and adjustments.
