Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Conrad, Iowa. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

This project consists of work at the elementary school and high school. At the elementary, the addition of a new cafeteria, serving and dish return areas, and a new front entrance and office area. The cafeteria is to be constructed as a hardened space as identified in the bid documents. The dishwash room includes relocated equipment and new equipment. Mechanical & plumbing includes new roof top mechanical units, distribution, controls systems, and water/sanitary. Electrical work includes power, lighting, and low voltage, and fire alarm systems for the addition. Work at the high school involves two areas. In Area A, an addition of two classrooms and site improvements. Exterior improvements include re-cladding and installing signage on the existing mainentrance canopy. In Area B, an addition of a secondary gymnasium, team rooms, concessions, and common area contained within a Pre-Engineered Metal Building system. Connection to the existing building is identified in the bid documents. Mechanical &plumbing includes new outdoor and rooftop mechanical units, distribution, and controls, plumbing, sprinkler and other work. Electrical work includes power and lighting for new spaces and modifications to existing services. Construction Contract: A single bid will be received for the work of the General Contractor including the work of all subcontractors.
