The Otay Water District (District) will require the services of an engineering consulting firm to provide professional engineering planning services for the preparation of the District's 2025 Water Facilities Master Plan (WFMP) Update, 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) Update, and 2025 Integrated Water Resources Plan (IRP) Update. For the 2025 WFMP, the project involves preparing the WFMP which includes a comprehensive potable water and recycled water master plan and supplemental environmental impact report. The general scope of work for the WFMP includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Research, analyze, and compile data o Prepare Population and Water Demand Projections o Prepare Land Use Projections o Hydraulic Modeling o Prepare detailed Capital Improvement Plan o Document all work in the 2025 Water Master Plan Update Report o Prepare Program Environmental Impact Report o As-Needed Asset Management For the 2025 UWMP, the project involves preparing the UWMP for compliance with the Urban Water Management Planning Act and in accordance with the guidelines provided by the California Department of Water Resources, which will satisfy the District's obligations under the UWMP Act.
