The City of Haines City, Florida, is requesting bids from qualified firms to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the specifications document. Scope of Work: The City is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide equipment, software, and/or professional services for the Citys comprehensive Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Project. The project primarily consists of three components: 1. The replacement and collection of GPS data of approximately 12,500 existing Advanced Meter Reading (AMR) Meters to (AMI) Meters 2. The collection of GPS data for 13,500 existing AMI Meters. 3. Service Line Material Survey for 5,000 structures built prior to 1989. Bid Ranking: December 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Bids will be publicly rated and ranked in the Commission Chambers, located at 620 E. Main Street, Haines City, Florida 33844 Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid on this project. All prospective bidders/respondents are hereby cautioned not to contact any member of the city of haines city staff or officials other than the specified purchasing coordinator. The City reserves the following rights: to waive informalities in any bid/proposal/quote; to reject any or all bids/proposals/quotes or portions of bids/proposals/quotes; to accept a bid/proposal/quote or portions of bids/proposals/quotes deemed to be in the best interest of the City; and to negotiate or refuse to negotiate with any offer.
