The proposed Work is for furnishing all labor, materials, tools and Equipment, supervision, etc. for Electrical and Mobile Generator, all in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Bids may be submitted by an individual, corporation, partnership, limited partnership, L.L.C., joint venture, or L.L.P. All Bids must be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file with the Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission at the Administration Office of the Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission. Prime bidders shall obtain an original set of bidding documents from the design professional who prepared such documents. The design professional of record shall maintain a list of all prime bidders for the purpose of addenda distribution. If drawings and specifications are not obtained directly from a GEC office, GEC will not be aware and shall not be responsible for your receipt of any addenda or subsequent information. R.S. 38:2218(A) in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid. GNOEC reserves the right to reject all Bids with just cause, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional Bids. In compliance with LA R.S. Title 37:2165, this project has been classified by the Engineer as Highway, Street and Bridge or Electrical Construction. Each Bidder must obtain a Contractor's license from the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors 2525 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70808, (225) 765-2301 in the classification listed. No bid may be withdrawn except as provided for by law. BIDS EXCEEDING $50,000 THE BIDDER SHALL CERTIFY THAT HE HOLDS AN ACTIVE LICENSE IN ACCORDANCE LA R.S. TITLE 37, CHAPTER 24 BY INDICATING THE CONTRACTOR'S LOUISIANA LICENSE NUMBER ON THE ENVELOPE CONTAINING THE BID. THE LICENSE NUMBER MUST ALSO APPEAR ON THE BID FORM WHERE INDICATED. SPECIAL NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: Bidders are required to certify their intent to comply with the Firearms Entity Special Provisions. Written evidence of the authority of the person signing the bid shall be deemed sufficient and acceptable if any of the following conditions are met: 1) The signature on the bid is that of any corporate officer listed on the most current annual report on file with the secretary of state. 2) The signature on the bid is that of any member of a partnership, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, or other legal entity listed in the most current business records on file with the secretary of state. 3) The signature on the bid is that of an authorized representative as documented by the legal entity certifying the authority of the person. 4) The legal entity has filed in the appropriate records of the secretary of state of this state, an affidavit, resolution, or other acknowledged or authentic document indicating the names of all parties authorized to submit bids for public contracts. Such document on file with the secretary of state shall remain in effect and shall be binding upon the principal until specifically rescinded and canceled from the records of the office.
