Renovation of a municipal facility in Silver Springs, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Design - Dog Shelter MAU. 4. Equipment is not to be installed on the roof. 5. All work is to be completed Monday through Friday form 7am to 3pm. Unless discussed and agreed on by Owner otherwise. 6. Open communication & planning with County Buildings and Grounds Director 7. All work to be conducted in a professional manner while following all Building Code and OSHA standards. All work is expected to be complete by April 30, 2025 The Contractor will not discriminate against employees or applicants for employment because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or marital status, shall make and document its conscientious and active efforts to employ and utilize minority group members and women in its work force on State contracts and will undertake or continue existing programs of affirmative action to ensure that minority group members and women are afforded equal employment opportunities without discrimination. Affirmative action shall mean recruitment, employment, job assignment, promotion, up gradings, demotion, transfer, layoff, or termination and rates of pay or other forms of compensation;(b) at the request of the contracting agency, the Contractor shall request each employment agency, labor union, or authorized representative of workers with which it has a collective bargaining or other agreement or understanding, to furnish a written statement that such employment agency, labor union or representative will not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or marital status and that such union or representative will affirmatively cooperate in the implementation of the Contractor's obligations herein; and (c) the Contractor shall state, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees, that, in the performance of the State contract, all qualified applicants will be afforded equal employment opportunities without discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or marital status. The County shall comply with the provisions of the Human Rights Law, and all other State and Federal statutory and constitutional non-discrimination provisions. The County and its subcontractors shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed (religion), color, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, age, disability, predisposing genetic characteristic, marital status or domestic violence victim status, and shall also follow the requirements of the Human Rights Law with regard to nondiscrimination on the basis of prior criminal conviction and prior arrest. Additional information: Prior to the preparation of a formal contract, the Contractor shall furnish a performance bond to be deposited with the County in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted Proposal as security for faithful performance of this contract and furnishing materials in connection with this contract. The cost of the aforesaid bonds is to be paid by the Contractor and shall be included in the proposal submitted. An Attorney-In-Fact who signs a performance or labor and materials payment bonds shall file with each bond or copy thereof a certified copy of their Power-of-Attorney to sign such bonds A formal binding contract will be provided to the selected contractor. The County of Wyoming reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in or to reject any or all proposals. Wyoming County is an equal opportunity employer. Facility Details: Building is an estimated 3650 square feet Building is Pole barn type construction Electrical service - 200 amp Fuel source - Natural Gas Water system - well Current HVAC - Boiler and multiple Ductless mini split units This system is to be installed at the Wyoming County Animal Shelter. The Animal Shelter is Located at 4380 Route 19, Silver Springs New York, 14550. The building is roughly 3650 square feet which includes an estimated 2000 square feet of kennel area, 1000 square feet of office/meeting area, 350 square feet of confinement space, as well as 300 square feet of grooming and mechanical area. Contract term: BY APRIL 2025 Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Location: 4380 ROUTE 19, SILVER SPRINGS, NY 14550 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
