The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is seeking a qualified consultant to provide a hydraulic model and master plan for the sanitary sewer system. As a renowned resort destination, the RMOW experiences significant variations in population and wastewater flow throughout the year. The existing sanitary sewer system, which serves both residential and commercial areas, requires a comprehensive evaluation to ensure its capacity, reliability, and efficiency. This project aims to develop an updated hydraulic model to simulate current and future conditions, identify potential improvements, and create a master plan to guide future investments and operational strategies. Importantly, this work will help inform the upcoming Liquid Waste Management update, ensuring that our strategies align with environmental standards and growth management.
