Heritage Run Road Storm Sewer Replacement Project The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only part is generally described as follows: Provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to install 500 linear feet of 36-inch diameter HDPE N-12 Dual Wall or HP Storm Dual Wall pipe (Township will provide the 36-diameter pipe), two (2) precast concrete headwalls, four (4) - 5-feet diameter precast concrete manholes, grouting shut approximately 410 linear feet of existing 36-inch diameter HDPE pipe, demolition of an existing 4'x2' catch basin including filling of catch basin with concrete sand, extension of two (2) existing downspout pipes, maintaining existing storm flows during construction, traffic control and all bituminous paving and non-stabilized restoration, site restoration, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all contract provisions including compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All employees must be paid the Prevailing Minimum Wages established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor & Industry. Verification of compliance must be provided by all Contactors, including Subcontractors The successful Bidder must also comply with the Public Works Employment Verification Act. The Act requires Contractors/Subcontractors to verify employment eligibility through the E-Verify program operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security as a precondition of being awarded a contract for this project. The Contract Documents contain information and a verification form regarding the Act.. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check or Bid Bond payable to the order of the Owner in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Bid as security for proper execution of the Agreement and submitting other documents as required by the Bidding Documents Estimated Contract Value: $250,000 The successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each of said bonds to be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, all in the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder will also be required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Bidding Documents. Bids shall remain open for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the Bid opening. No Bids may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled time of the closing of bids.
