MTO retains the exclusive right to change the scope of work for this Assignment by following the Change Order process specified in Section 3.7.3 of this RFQ Part A. The Service Provider will be required to provide CA Services for Contract 2024-2020. Construction Contract 2024-2020 is located in the Thorold Tunnel on Highway 58. The tunnel rehabilitation Contract includes: • Installing heat-traced drainage systems to mitigate the water ingress through joints in the tunnel roof and walls. Installing drip trays beneath the exhaust fans in both traffic tubes at the east end of the tunnel. Replacing precast ceiling panels in the traffic tubes that exhibit structural deficiencies or those required for access to install drainage systems on the soffit of the tunnel roof. Electrical installations for heat tracing system and miscellaneous electrical upgrades. Full night-time closures (one traffic direction at a time) are required for the work.
