As of January 6, 2024 this project has already been awarded in the total awarded amount of $633,033. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Wickersham Construction - $249,459.00 PLUMBING: WC Eshenaur and Son, Inc - $123,577.00 HVAC: Garden Spot Mechanical, Inc. - $124,000.00 ELECTRICAL: Garden Spot Electric, Inc. - $136,000.00 Multi-Prime AWWTP Dewatering Building Locker-room Modification Project The Project involves four (4) prime contracts: (a) General Construction; (b) Electrical; (c) HVAC and (d) Plumbing. Questions Due Date: Nov 29th 2024, 4:00 PM EST In general, the work under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals for modifications to the Dewatering Building locker-room. The work involves the conversion of an existing men's locker-room to a women's locker-room and constructing a new masonry men's locker-room inside the existing building. The Project and Contract are subject to certain special requirements. For example, as more specifically detailed in the Contract Documents, the successful bidder shall be required to assure protection against discrimination for employees, applicants for employment, and subcontractors on the grounds of actual or perceived race, color, sex, religion, ancestry, genetic information, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, familial status, marital status, age, mental or physical disability, use of guide or support animals and/or mechanical aids, and to make payment of certain minimum salaries and wages; and compliance with all requirements of the Steel Products Procurement Act. The City will determine who is the lowest responsible bidder(s) upon the basis of the bids submitted. The lowest responsible bidder(s) need not be the bidder submitting the lowest dollar amount. The City may consider the quality of services supplied, responsiveness of the bidder, past performance of the bidder, compatibility of the bidder's processes with other City services, the bidder's ability to handle the volume of work proposed, the ability of the bidder to work with other contractors in the context of a multi-prime contract. Further, consideration will be given to such matters as contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance, and financial and technical resources. The City reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder not possessing satisfactory qualifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise if the best interest of the City will thereby be promoted. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects if in its judgment, the interest of the City shall so require. The City further reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids received and reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever. Included in its right to reject bids, is the right for the City, in its sole discretion, to reject bids which are deemed by the City to be incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contain additions, erasures, alterations, omissions or irregularities of any kind. The project involves four (4) prime contracts: 1. General Construction (2023-32-01) Selective building demolition, masonry work, structural steel construction, installation of roof decking, framing, doors, tiling, ceilings, flooring, painting, signage, toilet compartments and toilet accessories and other work indicated in the contract documents., 2. Electrical (2023-32-02) Installation of new feeders, branch circuit, low-voltage transformer, panelboard, interior lighting, connections to equipment and other work indicated in the contract documents. 3. HVAC (2023-32-03) Installation of new air handling unit exhaust fans, ductwork, and ATC, and other work indicated in the contract documents. 4. Plumbing (2023-32-04) Demolition of existing hot water tank, installation of new hat water tank, water piping, fixtures and appurtenances and other work indicated in the contract documents
