Reference Number : 0000367048 The Town of North Andover is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide cleaning services for five municipal buildings. Scope of Services The successful bidder will provide cleaning services at the following locations: Town Hall- 120 Main Street, North Andover MA Work to be conducted between the hours of 4:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. 4 (four) person hours are to be provided during each daily work shift for the Town Hall Building. Department of Public Works- 384 Osgood Street, North Andover, MA Work to be conducted between the hours of 4:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. 2 (two) person hours are to be provided during each daily work shift for the DPW. North Andover Police Station, 1475 Osgood Street, North Andover, MA Work to be conducted between the hours of 3:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. 3 (three) person hours are to be provided during each daily work shift for the NAPD. Water Treatment Plant-420 Great Pond Road, North Andover, MA Work to be conducted between the hours of 4:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., on Monday and Friday only. 1.5 (one and one half) person hours are to be provided during each daily work shift for the WTP. Senior Center, 481 Sutton Street, North Andover, MA Work to be conducted between the hours of 4:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., on Monday and Friday only. 2 (two) person hours are to be provided during each daily work shift for the Senior Center. Youth Center, 33 Johnson Street, North Andover, MA Work to be conducted between the hours of 4:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M., on Monday and Friday only. 1.5 (one and one half) person hours are to be provided during each daily work shift for the WTP. No work required on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, President's Day, Patriots' Day, Memorial Day Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous People's Day/Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The successful contractor will submit invoices to the Town of North Andover Facilities Department at the close of each month for monthly cleaning services. Each building must be separately itemized on the monthly invoice. Payment for all services will be subject to verification of actual work completed. No payment will be made if in the opinion of the Facilities Director the work is not complete in accordance with these specifications. Term of Contract The Town of North Andover is seeking to award a one-year contract with two (2) additional oneyear renewals, solely at the discretion of the Town. The Town will provide written confirmation of renewal at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the contract period. The Town of North Andover is seeking to award a one-year contract for the period of December 1, 2024 through November 30, 2024 with two (2) additional one-year renewals, solely at the discretion of the Town. The Town will provide written confirmation of renewal at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the contract period. All proposals submitted in response to this IFB shall remain firm for sixty (60) days following the submittal deadline. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded within thirty (30) days after the submittal deadline. The Town of North Andover may cancel this IFB or reject in whole or in part any and all proposals, if they determine that cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the Town of North Andover.
