Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Eagle Pass, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Eagle Pass is seeking bids for the Sports Complex Fence Construction, approximately 8,380 linear feet (LF) in length and 4 feet in height, with 4-5 barb wire reinforcement. This project includes the installation of H braces, line posts, and T posts, as well as site preparation, cleaning, and leveling of the fencing path. The Project is located at the City of Eagle Pass Sport Complex on 1325 Patsy Winn Blvd, Eagle Pass, TX. Question Deadline 11/21/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Any requests for interpretation, clarification, etc. must be submitted on online or will not be considered. The CITY may provide answers to all questions no later than Wednesday, November 27, 2024. o Remove one layer of existing roof materials. Dispose in large dumpsters in designated areas. o Inspect wood. Damaged wood decking to be removed and replaced with pine plywood sheeting. OSB (Oriented Strand Board) will not be accepted for wood replacements. Photos will be required to verify wood replacement. o Provide and install perimeter edge metal to match metal profile selected. Color to be selected by the City. o Provide and install a High Temperature peel & stick water barrier in accordance with Florida Building Codes. o Provide and install all new metal roof boots and new gooseneck vents. o Provide and install all new valleys using pre-formed valley metal. o Provide and install all new metal roof details including all new end and new sidewall flashings. o Provide new standing seam panel - Panel width: 18", Rib height of 1.5", 24-gauge mill finish, hidden screws, price to include for perforated or smooth panel finish. Contractor shall provide perforated or smooth panel material. Installation according to manufacturer's specifications. o Provide a repair cost for existing soffit repairs at a cost per LF with the total LF needed for repair. The City is also requesting an additive cost to replace all soffits for the building. o Provide a repair cost for existing fascia repairs at a cost per LF with the total LF needed for repair. The City is also requesting an additive cost to replace all fascia for the building. o Provide the cost per sheet of plywood, as the total repairs may not be known until the roof is lifted. Pine plywood shall be used. Oriented Strand Board will not be accepted. Photos shall be required to verify wood replacement. o Provide and install new gutters on each facility with the following specs: 7" K=style gutter with leaf guards (Quantity to be measured and verified by the contractor), include 3x4 corrugated downspouts, include concrete splash blocks. o Vendors will furnish a building permit. Permit fee will be included on the bid. o Roll construction area daily with a magnetic nail bar to ensure removal of all nails. o Clean property and haul away all roofing debris upon job completion. o Vendor will furnish all material and labor necessary to complete roofing project as outlined in this proposal. o Vendor will supply all warranty from information on materials and workmanship warranty within the bid. The City is looking for a minimum 35 year manufactures warranty on all materials, that also comes with a ten-year labor warranty for workmanship from the installer/contractor. o The lowest responsive and responsible bidder with verified references shall be awarded a contract. C. EAVE AND RAKE DRIP EDGE FLASHING o Install metal on all eave edges to facilitate water shedding into gutters or away from facility. o Install metal on all rake edges to protect against wind driven rain. Payment Bond: If contract exceeds $50,000.00, a payment bond for the full amount of the proposal is required from the successful offeror prior to the commencement of work. Performance Bond: If contract exceeds $100,000.00, a payment bond for the full amount of the proposal is required from the successful offeror prior to the commencement of work. Bid Bond: A bid bond or cashier's check for five percent (5%) of the total bid with submitted proposal. The CITY reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to: (a) resolicit for proposals; or (b) abandon, temporarily or permanently this selection process, as it deems necessary to be in the best interests of the CITY. Receipt and consideration of any proposal shall, under no circumstances, obligate the CITY to accept any proposal. If an award of contract is made, it shall be made to the responsible GC whose proposal is determined to be the best evaluated offer taking into consideration the relative importance of the evaluation factors set forth in the IFB and the best value to the CITY.
