Request for Qualifications for Architect/Engineering Services Marion County, Arkansas is interested in acquiring the services of an Architect/Engineer to provide the necessary services to develop a master plan for our historical courthouse project. The project is funded by the Arkansas Historic Preservation funding. The total estimated cost of the project is unknown at this time. The maximum amount of funds available for an architect/engineering contract may not exceed the standard percentage of costs used by the funding source administration guidelines. Requests for funds exceeding the available maximum may be considered by Marion County, Arkansas based on the merits of the request. NOTE: Procedures for selection of an Architect/Engineer will be in accordance with procurement requirements of the Uniform Guidance. All proposals will be evaluated in terms of experience with historical structures, performance, and capacity. The type of experiences desired are Experience with state and federal compliance, experience planning and development of master plans for historic structures projects, experience working on same type projects, experience with field supervision, and experience procuring contractors, if needed, by competitive sealed bid procurement. Performance will be assessed in terms of timeliness, completing work within budget, and quality of work. Capacity will be evaluated in terms of number and type of staff to be assigned tasks, staff experience, and staff time availability. The proposal obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process will be awarded the contract. evaluations will be completed December 3rd, 2024.
