Question Deadline 11/29/2024 City may not answer questions received less than 5 days prior to the date for opening Bids. The scope of services is intended to provide the C.V. Starr Center with a 100% fully functional, and optimal HVAC system upgrade. This project scope will include new flashing, louvers, and rough carpentry for replacement and installation of two (2) rooftop air handler units along with electrical improvements to accommodate the new units. Services shall include all labor, parts, components, materials, and commissioning as specified in the Technical Specifications section of this contract. Work shall be completed within 90 Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. Engineer's Estimate. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs is approximately $769,195.00 Bid Preparation Cost: Bidders are solely responsible for the cost of preparing their Bids. Reservation of Rights: City specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects or minor irregularities in bids not involving time, price or quality of the work. Required Contractor's License(s): A California class C-20 contractor's license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. Specialty work may require a specialty class C-10 contractor's license held by Bidder or a listed subcontractor.
