Audio Visual and Electronic Supplies & Equipment Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the time for openings of bids or the authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the opening of bids will not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. The College reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the bids received as permitted by law or reject bids under certain circumstances as permitted by law. Each bid must be accompanied by the Certified Check of the bidder or by a Cashier's Check, or by a Bid Bond prepared on the form of bid bond attached hereto as Exhibit A, duly executed by the bidder as principal, having surety thereon, a surety company approved by the College, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid submitted, said 10% not to exceed $20,000.00 pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21, payable to Camden County College. Only originals submitted on the College's form Exhibit A will be accepted. In addition, the bid must also be accompanied by a Certificate (Consent of Surety) from a Surety Company stating that it will provide said bidder with a Performance Bond in the full amount of the bid. The term of the contract to be awarded as the result of this bid shall be for one (1) year from the date of execution of the agreement unless otherwise stated. The College may terminate the agreement for any reason upon thirty (30) days written notice to the contractor. The College shall only be responsible for payment up to the effective date of termination.
