Renovation of a medical facility in Richmond, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The scope for the project is to remove the two decommissioned boilers from the South Power Plant (SPP) and replace with a new boilers. The new infrastructure will provide redundancy to the North Power Plant (NPP) Boilers and provide the steam quality required for the Operating Rooms and MDRD. The boiler upgrade project also requires the Air Handling Unit to be recommissioned with a new structural platform and installation of an exhaust fan for better air circulation in the power plant. In addition to the above, there are control valves and other control mechanisms to be installed to interlock and synchronize the SPP and NPP boilers and also in the confined space to sequence the boiler operations.
